Halloween is officially only a month away, which means we can now admit that we’ve been pinning holiday ideas for weeks already. Chelsey, the crafter behind the Portland-based blog, The Paper Mama, and Mommy Mailbox subscriber, has Pinterest boards chock full of fun ideas and we asked her if she would share some of her ideas for DIY projects with kids on our Pinterest boards this week.

I'm a crafty lady and making pretty things is basically what I do for a job, and I love it. Since I'm typically making something new every other day or so, my daughter has caught the crafty bug. She would like to help me make everything and wants to start DIYs all on her own. She's still a little too young to help with all my work projects but sometimes I plan ahead to make a kid craft with her. Kid crafts are easier for her little hands and we get to work together, so I'm always on the lookout for more kid project ideas.
