Hello mamas! Just wanted to write a quick introduction. As you've seen, there have been some changes to Mommy Mailbox, and I thought maybe I should say hi and let you all know a little more about me! I'm not one who enjoys the spotlight--I much prefer working behind the scenes--so this will be short and sweet!

My name is Kate and I'm a married mother of 2 boys, ages 5 and 3. My background is in English and I worked for many years as an Editor, but the long hours were keeping me away from my family too much, so I formulated a plan to work for myself. My job as an Editor came with the added bonus of getting to work with a charity on an annual fundraiser. Every year I held a huge silent auction for all kinds of different gift baskets--every theme you can imagine. I became obsessed with curating the baskets to the point that I had a room of my house devoted to them and would work on them year round. I was constantly hearing people tell me that I was so great at putting together these baskets and I should do it for a living! When I discovered subscription boxes it was a major "A-ha!" moment for me! Here was a way I could do just that.

I launched my first subscription box in 2015 and I've learned so much since leaving my "day job" behind. Finding Mommy Mailbox was a dream come true for me. Ainsley, Jamie and Sarah really took me under their wings and taught me everything they know, and I hope that taking that knowledge and combining it with my own experience as a subscription box owner will result in a monthly box that really feels special when you open it each month. That is my goal, always--to bring a smile to your face. I don't plan on changing anything--this box was amazing as it is--I just want to continue to grow and bring you products that make you feel special and pampered. Goodness knows mamas deserve it!
